QB Adams recruits Lumpris to join Colorado's 'Prime Era'

Andre Adams, a four-star quarterback, is a pivotal recruiter for Colorado's 2027 class. He is actively encouraging other top prospects to join the Buffaloes, emphasizing the program's potential. Adams has specifically targeted four-star tight end Colt Lumpris, who is currently committed to Alabama. Adams is positioning himself as a leader, aiming to persuade Lumpris to switch his commitment and join Colorado's 'Prime Era.'

Colorado's offensive coordinator, Brennan Marion, sees Adams as a perfect fit for the 'Go-Go' offense, particularly appealing to versatile players like Lumpris. Adams' own impressive junior season statistics, including 4,273 total yards and 48 touchdowns, further bolster his recruiting appeal. He also aims to recruit other uncommitted targets and influence local talent to stay home.

Adams chose Colorado based on the genuine coaching staff and his connection with Coach Prime, despite other finalist offers. His talent is undeniable, demonstrated by a Tennessee state record of 714 total yards in a single game. Coach Prime himself expressed strong approval of Adams' commitment shortly after it was announced.
