College GameDay is set to broadcast from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday, October 10, 2026, for the prominent Week 6 matchup between the Alabama Crimson Tide and the Georgia Bulldogs. This selection underscores the SEC's significant presence in early-season college football, marking the fifth time in six weeks that the popular broadcast will originate from an Southeastern Conference campus.
The upcoming Georgia-Alabama game is poised to be a major contest, with both teams currently considered strong College Football Playoff contenders and boasting undefeated records. This clash follows last season's SEC Championship game, where Georgia secured a 28-7 victory, though Alabama managed to end Georgia's home winning streak during the regular season.
Adding a compelling narrative to the broadcast, former Alabama head coach Nick Saban is scheduled to appear as a GameDay analyst. His return to the site of his legendary coaching career is anticipated to be a significant storyline for the event. GameDay selected this matchup over other notable Week 6 games across the nation.
