As the 2025 NFL preseason kicks off, former Colorado Buffaloes teammates Shedeur Sanders and Jimmy Horn Jr. are set to reunite on the field. Ahead of the preseason clash, Horn Jr. expressed his excitement to see his former quarterback, saying, "It's going to be exciting to see him again. I can't wait to see how he's doing out there, like get to see him in person and stuff, so it's going to be good to see him again."

Coach Prime, who referred to Horn Jr. as "my favorite son," shared a picture of the two players greeting each other on the field, aptly captioning it "Thank God." The former NFL superstar has plenty of reasons to be thankful, as he has sent eight players from his second season with the Buffs to the NFL, including Shedeur Sanders and Jimmy Horn Jr.
