Lucas Gingold, a proud alum of Clovis Unified, has taken on a new role as the head football coach for Clovis West. This marks a significant return for Gingold, who described the opportunity to coach familiar faces as special. His coaching journey began as a player at Buchanan High School under coach Mike Vogt, who now serves on Gingold's staff.
Gingold's path led him to play for Cal and later serve as an assistant coach for Fresno State under Hall of Fame coach Jeff Tedford. He then moved to Texas seven years ago, contributing to Lake Travis's success, including a state semifinal appearance last season. His return to Fresno is driven by a desire to give back to the community that influenced his passion for football.
