Summary
- Clippers and Warriors play a win-or-go-home tournament game.
- Stephen Curry, Porzingis, and Horford face minutes restrictions.
- Winner advances to play for final playoff spot.
The Los Angeles Clippers face a do-or-die situation on Wednesday against the Golden State Warriors in the NBA play-in tournament. Adding a significant twist, three key Warriors players, including future Hall of Famer Stephen Curry, will be restricted in their minutes. Curry, Kristaps Porzingis, and Al Horford are each limited to a maximum of 40 minutes played.
The stakes for both teams are immense. The loser of this crucial game will have their season concluded immediately. The victor will proceed to compete against the loser of the Portland Trail Blazers and Phoenix Suns game for the last remaining spot in the NBA playoffs.
This intense matchup comes after the Clippers navigated a challenging season, overcoming a difficult 6-21 start to finish with a 40-42 record. Despite roster changes, internal tensions, and injuries, the team remains in contention for a playoff berth.
