Clemson Tigers Bolster Defense for Ranked Louisville Showdown

As Clemson prepares to face 20th-ranked Louisville in a crucial road test tonight, the Tigers have received some positive news on the injury front. Two Clemson defenders who carried midweek designations have been cleared to play in the matchup.

Safety Ricardo Jones and defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart, both listed as probable earlier in the week, are now available for the game. Jones has been a standout for Clemson's defense all season, while Capehart continues to be a reliable part of the interior rotation.

However, the Tigers will be without defensive tackle Stephiylan Green, who has been ruled out with an unspecified injury. Green has been a consistent contributor along the defensive front, and his absence will mean more responsibility for Capehart, Peter Woods, Vic Burley, and Amare Adams.

Louisville also received good news on the defensive side, as starting cornerback Tayon Holloway and linebacker Stanquan Clark have both been cleared to play.
