Clemson Makes Top 6 for Elite 2027 Guard

Clemson is among the finalists for four-star shooting guard Justin Wise, a top prospect in the 2027 recruiting class. The Tigers extended an offer to Wise in July 2025 and he has continued to be a target for Brad Brownell's staff.

Wise, a Georgia native, has demonstrated significant talent throughout the summer. He played for Jet Academy on the Nike EYBL Circuit, averaging 11.9 points, 3.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.4 steals. He also showcased his improved three-point shooting, hitting nearly 36 percent from beyond the arc.

His strong performances were also evident at the NBPA Top 100 Camp, where he was recognized as one of the event's top performers. Wise's versatility allows him to play both guard positions, create for himself and others, and score effectively at all levels. He is currently ranked No. 29 overall in the 2027 class by Rivals, No. 4 at his position, and No. 3 within Georgia.

The Tigers' pursuit of Wise is a key development in the 2027 cycle, with his recruitment expected to draw considerable attention. Wise's final list of six schools includes Tennessee, Miami, Texas, Georgia, and Vanderbilt, in addition to Clemson.
