Stroud has been sidelined since suffering a concussion in Week 9. He had returned to limited practice earlier in the week, with his symptoms like headaches and light sensitivity reportedly subsided. His mother, Kimberly Stroud, had previously expressed immense gratitude for the public's support and stated he was progressing daily.

While Stroud will miss his third consecutive game, the news provides an optimistic outlook for his return. Davis Mills is expected to start in his place, aiming for a 3-0 record in Stroud's absence. The Texans anticipate Stroud will be cleared to play on November 30th against the Indianapolis Colts.
