Cincinnati Bearcats football has welcomed its 11th commitment for the Class of 2027. Joshua Jones, an offensive lineman from North Gwinnett High School in Georgia, announced his decision on Tuesday. Jones, who is unranked by major services, brings the Bearcats' 2027 recruiting class to four offensive linemen.
Standing at 6-3 and weighing 275 pounds, Jones is the second interior offensive player to commit to the Bearcats' 2027 class. His commitment comes as the current team prepares for fall camp, which is set to begin in just a few weeks.
Head coach Scott Satterfield recently discussed his priorities for fall camp with ESPN 1530's Mo Egger. He highlighted the importance of integrating new defensive coordinator Nate Woody and improving defensive performance, particularly in creating turnovers and generating quarterback pressure. Satterfield also aims to evaluate the chemistry between new quarterback JC French and the wide receiver group.
