Chiefs vs. Broncos: AFC West Showdown Heats Up
1 Nov
Summary
- Chiefs host Broncos in a critical AFC West divisional game.
- Kansas City's recent loss to Seattle impacts standings.
- Rashee Rice returns for the Chiefs after a hamstring injury.
The 5-1 Kansas City Chiefs are preparing to face the 5-2 Denver Broncos in a significant AFC West divisional game this Sunday. The Broncos are entering the contest with momentum, currently on a three-game winning streak following their recent victory over the Arizona Cardinals.
This game carries considerable weight for the AFC West standings, especially after the Chiefs suffered their most disappointing performance of the season last week, a 20-3 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Kansas City's offense struggled, tying for the fewest points scored this season.
Adding a boost for the Chiefs, wide receiver Rashee Rice is set to return after being sidelined since Week 4 with a hamstring injury. Prior to his injury, Rice had accumulated 190 yards and a touchdown in four games. This marks the second meeting between the two teams this season, with the Chiefs having won the Week 1 matchup.
