Chelsea Races to Offload Outcasts Nkunku and Jackson for Simons and Garnacho

As of August 26th, 2025, Chelsea is in a race against time to offload two of their outcasts, Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson, in order to bring in Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho before the transfer window closes.

The deals for Simons and Garnacho are contingent on the sales of Nkunku and Jackson. According to reports, Bayern Munich has already agreed personal terms with Chelsea's outcast Nicolas Jackson, who fell out of favor with manager Enzo Maresca over the summer after the club signed Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.

Jackson, the Senegal international, also struggled at the Club World Cup earlier this year, picking up a red card against Flamengo. Chelsea is now in negotiations with Bayern, with the German club wanting a loan deal for Jackson. However, Chelsea would prefer a permanent deal or a loan with an obligation to buy, as these conditions would help the club make a move for Simons or Garnacho.

With the transfer window closing soon, Chelsea is hoping to finalize these deals quickly to bolster their squad for the upcoming season.
