In the summer of 2024, Chelsea brought in Joao Felix on loan from Atletico Madrid. However, the 25-year-old spent the second half of the 2024-25 season on loan at AC Milan, who opted not to make the move permanent.
Now, Chelsea are in negotiations with Benfica, Felix's former club, over a permanent transfer for the Portuguese forward. According to reports, Benfica are open to negotiating a permanent deal based on Chelsea's requests. The Blues have reportedly set their asking price for Felix at £43.3m.
Alongside the potential Felix transfer, Chelsea are also working on deals to bring in Xavi Simons and Jorrel Hato as they look to bolster Enzo Maresca's squad. However, the club also has a number of players they need to move on, with Felix being one of them.
