Fans shortchanged: Champions League final tickets anger supporters

The Arsenal Supporters' Trust has voiced significant disappointment with UEFA's ticket distribution plan for the upcoming 2026 Champions League final. Both finalist clubs, Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain, will be allocated just 17,200 tickets each, a number the trust deems insufficient given the Puskas Arena's capacity in Budapest. This allocation represents approximately 28% of the stadium's stated capacity.

The trust has been actively campaigning for improved fan treatment from UEFA for many years, recalling past "debacles" and expressing dissatisfaction with the current ticket numbers. They emphasize that fans are the backbone of the competition, supporting teams through all stages, and deserve greater consideration when final arrangements are made.

UEFA has previously stated that over 40% of stadium capacity is reserved for supporters in the most affordable categories. However, the trust's efforts to influence this year's allocation have been unsuccessful, though they have communicated their concerns through Arsenal. Ticket prices range from €180 for category three up to €950 for category one seats.
