O'Neill's Magic: Celtic's European Resurgence

Celtic showcased a dominant European performance, described by former striker James McFadden as akin to a training session at times. The team's resilience shone through when they conceded first, a significant achievement given their infrequent away wins in Europe. McFadden lauded the players' efforts, deeming it one of the best away performances he has witnessed.

Veteran manager Martin O'Neill has once again demonstrated his acumen, securing a substantial victory on the road in Europe. His return has injected a palpable sense of belief and positivity into the squad, influencing their approach to games. This resurgence has also inadvertently placed pressure on the incoming manager.

Journalist Moira Gordon observed that O'Neill has reawakened a sense of optimism within the team, even in the dressing room. The new manager faces the challenge of sustaining this upward trajectory, as any faltering could lead to calls for O'Neill's return.
