- Arizona is currently in last place but only one game behind division leaders.
The Arizona Cardinals have significantly improved their standing in the NFL power rankings following a dramatic overtime victory. The team now holds a 3-5 record after defeating the Dallas Cowboys 33-30 on the road, marking a substantial leap of seven places in the latest rankings to reach No. 23. Despite their current last-place position in the NFC West, they remain within striking distance of the LA Rams and Seattle Seahawks.
This surge in rankings is attributed to the Cardinals' resilient performance, including a notable comeback win against the Cowboys and another upset victory in recent weeks. While the team faces challenges, including potential injuries, their competitive spirit has made them an intriguing trade partner as the November 10 deadline nears. Their upcoming schedule includes tough matchups against the Seahawks, Rams, and Kansas City Chiefs.
