Cardinals' Benson Injured; McBride Shines

Arizona Cardinals running back Trey Benson will not play in Sunday's matchup against the Los Angeles Rams as he continues to recover from a knee injury. Benson has been sidelined since Week 4 of the 2025 season and recently had his practice window opened, but remains unavailable.

With Benson out, the Cardinals have utilized Bam Knight, Michael Carter, and Emari Demercado in the backfield. Benson was initially expected to start in place of the injured James Conner, but his season was cut short. The team has already been eliminated from playoff contention.

Despite the team's record, tight end Trey McBride presents a compelling prop bet for an anytime touchdown against the Rams. McBride has scored eight touchdowns in 12 games this season and has been particularly effective with quarterback Jacoby Brissett, finding the end zone in six of the last seven games.
