Calvin Ridley Out for Season After Fibula Fracture
19 Nov
Summary
- Calvin Ridley's season concluded due to a broken fibula.
- Ridley caught 17 passes for 303 yards before his injury.
- The Titans signed James Proche to fill Ridley's roster spot.

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike McCoy confirmed on Sunday that wide receiver Calvin Ridley sustained a season-ending broken fibula during the team's game against the Houston Texans. Ridley was officially placed on injured reserve on Tuesday, concluding his season prematurely. He had accumulated 17 receptions for 303 yards prior to the injury.
Ridley's final catch occurred on the very first play of the recent game, after which he did not return to the field due to the injury. He had previously missed three games earlier in the season with a hamstring issue.
To address the open roster spot, the Titans signed James Proche from their practice squad, who has appeared in two games this season. Additionally, wideouts Lance McCutcheon and Kristian Wilkerson were signed to the practice squad, as the team may face further receiver shortages due to existing injuries to rookies Elic Ayomanor and Chimere Dike.
