The Cal men's basketball team has unveiled its 2025-26 nonconference schedule, which promises to be an exciting and challenging slate for the Bears. The season will begin with three straight home games against Cal State Bakersfield, Wright State, and Cal State Fullerton, before the team travels to Manhattan, Kansas, to take on Kansas State on November 13.
After the road game against the Wildcats, Cal will return to Berkeley for home contests against Presbyterian and Sacramento State, followed by a matchup against UCLA at the Chase Center in San Francisco on November 25. The Bears will then host Utah on December 2 before closing out their nonconference schedule with five more home games against Dominican, Pacific, Northwestern State, Morgan State, and Columbia.
The 2025-26 season will feature a significantly different Cal roster, with only 3 players returning from last year's 14-19 team. The Bears have added 9 new transfers and 2 scholarship freshmen to the squad, as they look to improve upon their 6-14 conference record from the 2024-25 campaign.
