Washington Nationals pitcher Cade Cavalli delivered a performance on Thursday that hinted at his true potential. This outing marked a significant step forward for the 27-year-old right-hander.
Cavalli expressed his satisfaction, stating, "I feel like this is who I am." He emphasized his ability to attack hitters and trust his defense. Manager Blake Butera also noted Cavalli's improved performance, remarking, "He looked like the Cade Cavalli we all expect to see."
Following a winter trade that shifted him into an ace role, Cavalli has faced pressure to perform.
