BYU Football Lands Top 2027 Recruiting Class

BYU's football program recently hosted its most substantial recruiting event of the year, welcoming over a dozen highly-touted prospects to campus. This significant recruiting weekend provided potential future Cougars with an immersive experience of BYU's culture and facilities, including a night in LaVell Edwards Stadium and various team activities.

The event featured several highly-rated recruits for the 2027 class. Four-star defensive tackle Jeremiah Williams, the lone four-star commit currently, was on campus. Bode Sparrow, the top prospect in Utah for 2027, and fellow four-star defensive end Uhila Wolfgramm, also among the state's elite, participated. Defensive tackle Moa Havili, a national recruit with offers from numerous top programs, and cornerback Kamoni Adams were also present.

Quarterback target Brody Rudnicki, a top priority for BYU in the 2027 class, was in attendance. Linebacker Tytan DeJong, the first commit in the 2027 class, was also present and actively recruiting others. Offensive lineman Kyle Nabrotzky and cornerback Ryan Wooten Jr. were among the other key visitors, with Wooten Jr. highlighting the impact of new coach Lewis Walker.

Additional prospects exploring BYU included offensive lineman Moa Brown, running back Ezra Sanelivi, safety Jaxson Rex (who committed during the weekend), safety Lakepa Satuala, linebacker Owen Leishman, and kicker/punter James Thorley, the first visitor to commit. The extensive list of visitors underscores BYU's vigorous pursuit of top talent for upcoming seasons.
