Burrows Set for Rehab Start

Burrows is set to commence his rehabilitation assignment with Triple-A Sugar Land this Friday, according to reports. This marks a significant step in his recovery process. The pitcher recently completed a three-inning, 55-pitch outing at Houston's complex last Saturday.

His upcoming appearance will be his first at the Triple-A level as he works back from an elbow issue. Burrows is expected to require multiple rehab starts before being cleared to return. It's also possible he will remain in the minor leagues once healthy, as he was optioned to Sugar Land on July 7, a move that was nullified when he was placed on the injured list.
