Summary
- Burnley and Wolves, both relegated, face off again at Turf Moor.
- Burnley has won only one of their last ten games.
- Wolves suffer a blow with Raul Jimenez out until January.
The upcoming match between Burnley and Wolves at Turf Moor on Friday evening is live on Sky Sports Football. This fixture marks a second meeting for these two clubs, who were both relegated from the Premier League. Their previous encounter on May 24 concluded in a 1-1 draw.
Burnley, managed by Nicky Hayen, has had a difficult start to their campaign. Despite a recent 4-0 victory over Watford, they have secured only one win in their last ten matches, leaving them eight points adrift of the play-off positions.
Wolves have a more favorable recent performance record, although they have lost their last two games against Middlesbrough and Bolton. They have secured four wins overall. However, the team has been dealt a significant blow with Raul Jimenez undergoing knee surgery, which is expected to keep him out until January.
