Browns WR Jeudy: League's Top Wasted Talent?
23 Nov, 2025
Summary
- Jeudy runs many routes but has minimal receptions and yards.
- A mid-game quarterback change impacted his recent performance.
- Mediocre to abysmal QB play has plagued Browns receivers all season.
Courtland Jeudy's season is shaping up to be one of the most disappointing in terms of receiver efficiency across the league. He ranks seventh in the NFL in routes run but has only managed 31 receptions for 356 yards and a single touchdown, a stark contrast to his usage.
Last week's performance against the Ravens saw him targeted seven times but secure only three catches for 21 yards. This drop-off from his prior 78-yard, one-touchdown game against the Jets was exacerbated by a mid-game quarterback change and general offensive disarray.
Jeudy, along with his fellow pass-catchers, has been consistently undermined by subpar quarterback play throughout the season. With no immediate changes expected, this trend of underutilization and wasted potential appears set to continue for the Browns' offensive unit.
