7 Jan
Summary
- Browns seek new head coach after firing Stefanski.
- Aden Durde, Seahawks DC, is a candidate for the role.
- Todd Monken of Ravens also requested for an interview.
The Cleveland Browns are actively seeking a new head coach after parting ways with Kevin Stefanski earlier this week. The team has begun the process of identifying and interviewing candidates to lead the franchise.
In their search, the Browns have requested permission to speak with Todd Monken, who currently serves as the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens. This indicates a strategic move to explore experienced offensive minds for the coaching position.
Further diversifying their candidate pool, the Browns have also requested an interview with Aden Durde, the defensive coordinator for the Seattle Seahawks. Durde, originally from England, brings a unique background, having started his NFL coaching career as an intern with the Dallas Cowboys in 2014 and also spending time with the Atlanta Falcons.
