Curry Interviews for Broncos OC Role
30 Jan
Summary
- Ronald Curry interviewed for the Broncos offensive coordinator position.
- Curry previously coached under Sean Payton in New Orleans for four seasons.
- Joe Lombardi was fired from the offensive coordinator role this week.
The Denver Broncos have begun their search for a new offensive coordinator, with Ronald Curry being the first candidate to interview for the position. Curry, 46, brings a history of working with current Broncos head coach Sean Payton. He spent four seasons in New Orleans with the Saints, serving as the wide receivers coach from 2018-2020 and as the quarterbacks coach in 2021. Following his time in New Orleans, Curry joined the Buffalo Bills as their quarterbacks coach. This interview process follows the recent firing of Joe Lombardi, who held the offensive coordinator title for the past three seasons. Another potential candidate for the offensive coordinator role is current Broncos quarterbacks coach Davis Webb, should he not pursue the head coaching opportunity in Las Vegas.
