Davis Webb has been elevated to offensive coordinator for the Denver Broncos, a decision met with approval by quarterback Bo Nix. This promotion follows a highly successful 2025 season for Nix, who became the only quarterback in NFL history to record 7,500 passing yards and 50 touchdowns while securing over 20 wins in his initial two years.
Webb, previously the pass game coordinator, played a crucial role in the Broncos' offensive resurgence. The team's passing offense climbed from 20th in 2024 to 11th in 2025 under his influence. Nix highlighted Webb's exceptional coaching and communication skills, noting his ability to simplify complex information.
With prior NFL playing experience for the Giants, Jets, and Bills, Webb transitioned to coaching in 2023 under Sean Payton. His recent experience as a player, combined with his meticulous note-taking and ability to connect with young quarterbacks, positions him well for his new role.
