26 Apr
Summary
- Broncos selected three players on the final day of the 2026 NFL Draft.
- Denver became the first club in modern NFL history to make final two draft picks.
- Miles Scott, Dallen Bentley, and Red Murdock round out the Broncos' rookie class.

The Denver Broncos finalized their 2026 NFL Draft class on Saturday by selecting three additional players. Miles Scott, a defensive back from Illinois, was chosen at pick No. 246 overall. The Broncos then made history by securing the draft's final two selections, picks No. 256 and 257, selecting Utah tight end Dallen Bentley and Buffalo linebacker Red Murdock. Murdock earned the title of Mr. Irrelevant for this year's draft.
This accomplishment makes the Broncos the first team in modern NFL history to hold the last two picks in the draft. Scott brings significant experience from Illinois, with 182 tackles and 11 tackles for loss across 41 games. Bentley, a tight end from Utah, recorded 51 receptions for 640 yards and six touchdowns over 31 games. Murdock, a linebacker from Buffalo, achieved an NCAA record with 17 career forced fumbles, in addition to 364 tackles and 39.5 tackles for loss.
These new recruits join previously drafted players including defensive lineman Tyler Onyedim, running back Jonah Coleman, offensive lineman Kage Casey, and tight end Justin Joly. The Broncos' strategy in these late-round picks aims to add depth and competition across their roster, particularly at positions like defensive back, tight end, and linebacker, as the team builds for the future.
