The Denver Broncos secured their spot in the AFC Championship game with a thrilling 33-30 overtime win over the Buffalo Bills on Saturday. The decisive moment came when Ja'Quan McMillian intercepted Josh Allen's pass, preventing a Bills field goal and setting up the Broncos' offense.
Quarterback Bo Nix then guided Denver downfield, leading to Wil Lutz's 24-yard field goal that clinched the victory. This win was a defensive masterclass for Denver, forcing five turnovers from the Bills, including multiple miscues from Allen, who had previously been efficient in playoff games.
The Broncos will now host the AFC Championship next Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High. This marks their first appearance in the conference championship game in a decade, aiming to reach the Super Bowl after a strong regular season performance.
