6 Mar
Summary
- Broncos aim for Super Bowl contention with strategic free agency and draft.
- Team seeks playmakers to elevate offense after a 14-win season.
- Key figures like Bo Nix and Vance Joseph are crucial for Denver's success.
The Denver Broncos are preparing for a critical offseason, aiming to add playmakers to transition from a 14-win team to Super Bowl contenders in 2026. General Manager George Paton stated the team will be "urgent and aggressive" in its player acquisition approach.
With key personnel like quarterback Bo Nix, who has tied an NFL record for wins in his first two seasons, and a strong defensive coordinator Vance Joseph retained, the Broncos possess a solid foundation. However, they must address an offense that ranked 14th in scoring last season.
Significant cap space and strategic investments in the offensive and defensive lines have positioned Denver favorably. The team is exploring options ranging from blockbuster trades to targeting top free agents to address the need for more dynamic playmakers.
The Broncos understand that replicating their success in one-score games is unlikely. Therefore, this offseason is crucial for adding the 'meat on the bone' through acquisitions that will elevate their performance and competitive standing.
