5 Apr
Summary
- Brighton has had an inconsistent Women's Super League season.
- They aim to improve on past FA Cup semi-final exits.
- Their next challenge is facing European champions Arsenal.
Brighton's Women's Super League campaign has been marked by inconsistency, leaving them in sixth place without European prospects. The team is now channeling its focus towards a promising FA Cup run, seeking a significant uplift in performance and morale.
Historically, Brighton has reached the FA Cup semi-finals twice, in 2021 and 2023, but fell short of advancing further on both occasions. This year, they are determined to rewrite that narrative and achieve greater success in the prestigious tournament.
The path to glory, however, presents an immediate and significant hurdle. Brighton is set to face the formidable challenge of European champions Arsenal in their upcoming fixture.
