Juve Starlet Licina on Brighton's Radar
29 Oct
Summary
- Brighton and Leipzig are monitoring Juventus attacker Adin Licina.
- Licina is on loan at Serie B side Cremonese, scoring two goals.
- Juventus could sell for pure profit due to a sell-on clause.
Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion are closely tracking Juventus attacker Adin Licina, a highly-rated German youth international currently excelling on loan in Italy's second tier. The 19-year-old has already notched two goals and an assist for Serie B side Cremonese, operating as a winger or attacking midfielder.
Fabian Hurzeler's Brighton, alongside German club RB Leipzig, are reportedly compiling data and match displays for Licina, considering a winter transfer approach. Juventus acquired the player on a free transfer in February 2026 from Bayern Munich, who retain a 30 per cent sell-on clause. This has contributed to Licina's valuation climbing to approximately €10 million.
While no official bids have been made, Juventus must decide Licina's immediate future. Terminating his loan early for a January sale is an option, though they may prefer he finishes the season in Serie B. The player himself is reportedly keen on a Premier League move, with his performance in the coming weeks likely to shape Juventus's decision regarding a potential transfer or integration into their first-team squad next summer.
