Jackson Chourio's clutch hitting propelled the Milwaukee Brewers to a thrilling 4-3 victory over the San Diego Padres on Sunday. His walk-off two-run single in the bottom of the ninth inning capped a comeback and gave the Brewers a dominant 2-0 lead in their best-of-five National League division series. This marks the second straight day the Brewers rallied from a deficit to defeat the Padres.
The Padres initially took a 1-0 lead in the first inning and extended it to 2-0 in the fifth, capitalizing on Brewers' errors. Milwaukee managed to score a run in the fifth and again in the seventh, aided by a Padres error, to pull within one run. The series now shifts to San Diego for game three on Tuesday, with the Padres facing elimination.
