10 Aug
Summary
- Brentford's U21 and U18 teams will compete in their first Premier League seasons.
- Category One status was awarded to the academy in April.
- The U18 Premier League splits teams into north and south groups for competition.

Brentford's Under-21 and Under-18 squads are set to embark on their first-ever campaigns in the Premier League 2 and U18 Premier League following the academy's achievement of Category One status in April. This marks a significant milestone for the young Bees.
The Premier League 2 season will feature 20 league games for each team, with the highest-ranked side crowned league phase winners. A subsequent knockout stage will determine the overall PL2 champions, a title previously won by Brighton & Hove Albion. Teams outside the top 16 will participate in a separate knockout competition.
The U18 Premier League adopts a different structure, dividing teams into northern and southern groups. The champions of each group will compete in a national final to decide the overall winner, a title Chelsea secured last season. Gary McDermott's U18 side is scheduled for 30 league fixtures, alongside entries into the FA Youth Cup and Premier League Cup.
