The Acomb Stakes saw Haffner, a 2-year-old son of Justify, emerge victorious by two lengths. Trained by Aidan O'Brien, Haffner showcased a strong performance, extending his record to two wins and two second-place finishes in four starts.
Further opportunities to qualify for the Breeders' Cup will be presented later in the week. Berths are still up for grabs in Thursday's G1 Yorkshire Oaks for the Filly & Mare Turf and Friday's G1 Nunthorpe for the Turf Sprint.
