Braves Prospect Fuentes Unleashes Unhittable Spring

Didier Fuentes, the Braves' No. 3 prospect, has demonstrated remarkable dominance this spring, retiring 26 of the 27 batters he's faced across three appearances. Notably, he struck out 17 batters without allowing a hit or walk over nine innings. His performance includes four perfect innings against the Phillies on Wednesday, where he struck out eight of twelve batters faced. This spring's success contrasts with his limited MLB experience in 2025, where he struggled significantly over four starts. Fuentes' development over the past nine months has been significant, improving his repertoire and prospect ranking. He now appears ready to contribute as a stopgap for the Braves' rotation.
