Boxer Collapses: Brain Bleed After Sparring

British boxer Raven Chapman, aged 32, is currently in a Danish hospital following a critical medical emergency. On Friday, July 24, Chapman collapsed unexpectedly after a sparring session. She was immediately attended to by emergency services and airlifted to a local hospital.

Doctors diagnosed Chapman with a brain hematoma and cerebral edema, requiring immediate emergency surgery. The procedure successfully halted the bleeding and addressed the brain swelling. Following surgery, she was placed in a medically induced coma.
