The Portland Trail Blazers achieved a significant 130-99 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, reinforcing their push for a Western Conference playoff spot. This win is crucial as Portland is currently vying for the eighth seed with the Los Angeles Clippers.
Portland's acting head coach, Tiago Splitter, stressed the importance of treating every remaining game as a playoff opportunity. The team needs to secure home wins and then face the Clippers directly.
Scoot Henderson led the Blazers with 23 points, supported by Deni Avdija and Jerami Grant, who added 18 points each. The team also dominated the rebounding battle, outrebounding Milwaukee 54-34.
The Blazers exhibited strong offensive execution, particularly from three-point range, and maintained control for most of the game. They aim to maintain this momentum and playoff-focused mentality with eight games remaining in the regular season.
