Blake Hinson: Jazz's Unknown Sharpshooter Emerges

Blake Hinson, initially an unknown, has emerged as a significant player for the Utah Jazz following his two-way contract signing on February 9. Hinson has demonstrated exceptional shooting prowess, maintaining a 50% success rate from three-point range on 5.2 attempts per game. His efficiency and scoring, including a notable 21-point performance in just 11 minutes on March 25, position him as a key offensive weapon.

Hinson's journey includes a successful college career at the University of Pittsburgh, where he earned ACC honors, and dominance in the G-League. His strong work ethic and performance have made him a valuable, cost-effective player in the new NBA Collective Bargaining Agreement era. As the Jazz build their roster for future success, Hinson provides much-needed shooting depth and scoring potential for their second unit.
