BKFC Unleashes Bare-Knuckle Brawl in India

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC) and Bare Knuckle Fight League (BKFL) are officially expanding into India, aiming to tap into one of the largest combat sports markets globally. This strategic move, spearheaded by World League of Fighters (WLF), introduces a novel team-based league format, a first in the sport's history. Six inaugural teams—Crushers, Punishers, Warriors, Phantoms, Gladiators, and Infernos—will compete, transforming individual bouts into a franchise-driven spectacle.

The venture boasts a high-profile board, including Bollywood star Tiger Shroff and BKFC owner Conor McGregor, alongside WLF co-founders and film producer Parag Sanghvi. The first official team-based BKFC and BKFL events are scheduled for 2026. This expansion is anticipated to foster Indian fighters, cultivate international stars, and deliver premier fight entertainment.

Rajesh Banga, one of WLF's co-founders, highlighted India as the future of global combat sports, emphasizing the creation of a comprehensive ecosystem. Parag Sanghvi views the initiative as an opportunity to build a global sports intellectual property originating from India, merging compelling storytelling with intense sporting action. The organization has ambitious plans for developing talent and capturing worldwide fandom.
