Bills Rookie CB Hairston Avoids Serious Knee Injury, Eyes Quick Return

Earlier this week, Buffalo Bills rookie cornerback Maxwell Hairston left practice with a knee injury, raising concerns about a potential long-term setback. However, further testing has revealed that Hairston suffered an LCL sprain but avoided any ACL damage.

The injury occurred during a "freak trip up" during drills, according to Hairston's teammates. Bills head athletic trainer Nate Breske immediately attended to Hairston, who was helped off the field by several teammates, including Dane Jackson. The team and Hairston's fellow players were visibly concerned, with Jackson saying they "said a prayer for him" and hoped for a "speedy recovery."

Fortunately, the test results have been positive, and Hairston could return to the field in as little as 3 weeks.
