The Buffalo Bills have finalized their practice squad additions for the upcoming season. Quarterback Shane Buechele has rejoined the team after being released on Sunday, strengthening the quarterback depth alongside Josh Allen and Kyle Allen. Buechele had played the entire preseason finale, completing 26 of 38 passes for 196 yards.
In addition to Buechele, the Bills have brought in three players who were not part of their training camp roster. Wide receiver Greg Dortch, linebacker Shaq Thompson, and offensive tackle Jedrick Wills Jr. have all agreed to join the practice squad. Wills Jr., notably, was the 10th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft and was released by the Bears on Sunday.
The team's practice squad also includes a number of other players. These include offensive guard Nick Broeker, defensive lineman Travis Clayton, defensive back Te'Cory Couch, running back Frank Gore Jr., wide receiver Stephen Gosnell, inside linebacker Keonta Jenkins, outside linebacker Andre Jones Jr., offensive tackle Chase Lundt, wide receiver Ja'Mori Maclin, wide receiver Trent Sherfield Sr., safety Geno Stone, cornerback Kani Walker, and cornerback Anthony Kendall.
