Analyst Albert Breer believes the Bills should leverage their championship-caliber roster, led by Josh Allen, by attempting to trade for a proven head coach. He suggests targeting individuals like Kevin O'Connell (Minnesota Vikings), Sean McVay (Los Angeles Rams), or Kyle Shanahan (San Francisco 49ers), despite acknowledging these teams would likely have no intention of trading their current leaders. Breer argues that with Josh Allen in his prime, the Bills have a golden opportunity to chase Super Bowls and cannot afford a grace period with an inexperienced coach.

Breer likens the situation to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers' acquisition of Jon Gruden, which led to a Super Bowl victory. He contends that even a long-shot pursuit of a renowned coach is preferable to hiring a coordinator without head coaching experience. This proactive approach, Breer suggests, would best position the Bills to capitalize on their current competitive window.
