Bijan Robinson: Atlanta's RB Ascends to NFL Superstar

Entering his fourth NFL season, Bijan Robinson is widely regarded as one of the league's premier running backs. His journey from a highly-touted recruit to an Atlanta Falcon has been one of consistent growth and elite performance. After an All-Pro season, Robinson has solidified his superstar status.

Robinson's talent was evident early, earning five-star status out of high school. He made an immediate impact as a freshman at Texas, leading the conference in yards per attempt. Over his next two collegiate seasons, he significantly increased his yardage, culminating in a unanimous All-American selection and the Doak Walker Award.

Selected eighth overall in the 2023 NFL Draft, Robinson immediately proved his worth. Despite sharing carries in his rookie year, he recorded 1,463 scrimmage yards and demonstrated impressive receiving prowess. His second season saw him earn a Pro Bowl nod with 1,456 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns, alongside significant receiving contributions.

In his third season, Robinson reached new heights, leading the league with 2,298 scrimmage yards. He averaged over five yards per carry and nearly doubled his receiving yardage from the previous year. While his on-field achievements are numerous, areas for refinement include ball security, as he has had nine fumbles in his career.

Robinson also aims to increase his touchdown numbers, particularly with a new coaching staff and after Allgeier's departure. With a potential contract extension on the horizon, he is poised for another dominant season in his fourth year with the Falcons.
