Malik, who is in his debut season with the Bulls, revealed that his favorite sport aside from Kabaddi is cricket, and his favorite player is former India and Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli.
When asked about his teammates, Malik named Yogesh Dahiya as his best friend on the team. He also identified Iranian star Alireza Mirzaiain as the player who is often late for training, and Pankaj as the "complaint box" of the group. Interestingly, Malik singled out defender Sanjay Dhull as the most notorious member of the Bengaluru Bulls squad.
The Bulls finished third in the Pro Kabaddi 2025 league stage, winning 11 of their 18 matches and qualifying for the playoffs. However, their campaign came to an end after losses in the Mini Qualifier against the Telugu Titans and the second Eliminator against the Patna Pirates. The team had previously won the Pro Kabaddi trophy in Season 6.
