Summary
- Bengals will play Falcons in Madrid at 9:30 a.m. ET.
- Cincinnati must contain Atlanta's star running back, Bijan Robinson.
- Establishing the run is crucial for Bengals' success against Atlanta's pressure.
The Cincinnati Bengals, holding a 5-2 record, are scheduled to play the 3-5 Atlanta Falcons in Madrid this week. The game is set for an early 9:30 a.m. ET kickoff.
A primary challenge for the Bengals will be containing Atlanta's elite running back, Bijan Robinson. Despite recent performances below his high standards, Robinson remains a significant threat both in rushing and receiving, nearing 1,000 all-purpose yards for the season.
Cincinnati also needs to establish a more balanced offensive attack, particularly in their running game. Atlanta's defense has proven capable of generating significant pressure, ranking second in the league in pressures. This necessitates moving away from a pass-heavy offense.
Furthermore, putting pressure on Falcons' quarterback Michael Penix is a key to forcing turnovers. The Bengals possess a strong defensive front that can disrupt Penix's rhythm and capitalize on his interception tendencies.
