Dante Reveals Bayern's Rising Young Talents

Dante, currently coaching Bayern Munich's reserves, has expressed excitement about two emerging talents: 16-year-old centre-back Filip Pavic and 17-year-old left winger Maycon Cardozo. Both players have already made their senior team debuts for Bayern. Pavic, born in Freising, became the second-youngest player in the club's history shortly after his 16th birthday and also represented Croatia at the Under-17 European Championship. Dante sees Pavic as a future strong defender, emphasizing his eagerness to learn but advising him to enhance his communication skills and physical development.

Maycon Cardozo, originally from Brazil, is described by Dante as an enormous pleasure to work with due to his constant focus and full-throttle approach. Dante has even advised Cardozo to moderate his sprinting intensity to manage workload before matches. Cardozo, who moved to Thailand at age ten, has been training with Bayern's World Squad since 2024 and permanently joined the club in early 2025, reportedly speaking excellent German. Dante and his reserve team are set to begin their Regionalliga season at home on Friday against SC Eltersdorf.
