Bayern Eyes Brighton Star Baleba Amidst Goretzka Uncertainty

Bayern Munich is reportedly considering a move for Brighton and Hove Albion's talented midfielder, Carlos Baleba. The German club has placed the 21-year-old Cameroonian on its transfer shortlist, a decision influenced by the uncertain future of Leon Goretzka, whose contract is set to expire in 2026. Goretzka's recent exclusion from the starting lineup further fuels speculation about potential midfield reinforcements.

Baleba, who arrived at Brighton from Lille in 2023 for a fee of €27 million, attracted significant attention last summer. Manchester United had reportedly submitted an offer for the player, but their pursuit was halted by Brighton's substantial €100 million valuation at the time.
