Barnett Nails Ninth Inning Save

Barnett secured a save for the Oakland A's in their recent 9-6 triumph over the Giants. He delivered a flawless ninth inning, striking out one batter to close out the game. This save was Barnett's second in his initial eight major league appearances this season.

The 25-year-old right-hander has made a significant impact in the A's bullpen. In his first 14.2 innings, he has allowed only two earned runs on seven hits and seven walks, while also accumulating 19 strikeouts.

Prior to his major league success, Barnett made five starts for Triple-A Las Vegas earlier in the year. During that period, he posted a 4.64 earned run average over 42.2 innings pitched.
