Kadri's Return Goal Seals Avalanche Victory

Nazem Kadri scored his first goal since rejoining the Colorado Avalanche, marking a significant moment in their 5-1 victory against the Seattle Kraken on Thursday. The Avalanche forward, who previously won the Stanley Cup with the team in 2022, tipped a shot past the Kraken's goalie to extend Colorado's lead.

Nathan MacKinnon contributed his NHL-leading 44th goal of the season, further solidifying Colorado's dominance. Martin Necas opened the scoring with his career-high 30th goal, assisted by MacKinnon. Earlier that day, MacKinnon's game misconduct from a previous match was rescinded.

Nicolas Roy added a power-play goal, chasing Seattle's initial goalie, Joey Daccord, who was pulled for the fourth time this season. Scott Wedgewood made 28 saves for the win as Colorado bounced back from a recent loss.
