Australians Hannah Green and Minjee Lee have taken the lead at the HSBC Women's World Championship after three rounds. They posted scores of 4-under 68 and 69 respectively, reaching a three-round total of 11-under 205 at Sentosa Golf Club.
Trailing the Australian duo are American Angel Yin and South Korea's Haeran Ryu, who are tied for third place. The leaderboard saw several players vying for the lead earlier in the round, with six players tied at 9-under before Angel Yin took a temporary lead.
Auston Kim, who led after the first two rounds, fell back after encountering difficulties with consecutive bogeys. She is now tied for sixth place, three strokes behind the leaders. Kim expressed the challenging nature of the course, noting the ease of making bogeys despite numerous birdie opportunities.
The HSBC Women's World Championship is the second of three tournaments in the LPGA's early Asian swing. The final event of this series will take place next week on Hainan Island, China. Defending champion Lydia Ko and top-ranked Jeeno Thitikul are among the other notable players, further down the leaderboard.
